For all Hip Hop fans please do yourself a favor and pickup this masterpiece called Finding Forever by Common. Now ive been a common fan since back in the day when he was common sense but i can honestly say this is some of his best work yet. The kanye Common team is really working and it shows on the album.Shout out to will.i.am hes been doing his thing this year and he doesn't dissapoint on commons "i want you" track.Watch out for UK singer Lilly Allen who killed it on "drivin me wild".Common had a couple people on this album like Bilal, D'angelo, DJ Premier, Will.i.am, and Lilly Allen. Each of these talented artist featured on commons album brought there own little magic to make this cd a classic in my book.

Marsha Ambrosius from Floetry is set to start a new tour called Floetry Remixed Tour. For this tour she has acquired the very beautiful very talented emcee/singer Amanda Diva to be the other half of the group.If you have not heard of Amanda Diva then your missing out because i feel that she is gonna be the next Lauryn Hill.I know i know your saying right now what is this guy crazy? NO,I truly believe that Ms. Diva has both the talent and the drive to be even bigger and better than the talented Lauryn Hill.Anyway with Marsha Ambrosius this should be a great show.The tour will kick off in Boston,Massachusetts at Paradise.If your still wondering about who Amanda Diva is definitely go check out the show but for now i left you all with a video below just to get a little taste.

If there was a death then there certainly was a birth and a birthplace. On July 23 Hip Hop will have its birthplace officially recognized. On monday there will be a press conference in the south Bronx the south south Bronx. With this 1520 Sedgwick Ave will be eligible to be noticed as an official historic landmark. This has me thinking about the old days when park jams represented and spoke for all of hip hop with free food for the youth and free music that everyone around the neighborhoods could enjoy. Snap back to reality all i have is one question. How did we get here? I guess in the end i realize that all things must change and hip hop is no different. New York the birthplace of hip hop is going to officially be recognized in your state so now its time to show them why.
